Buy Uwell Caliburn Air Pod Kit at Best Price

The Uwell Caliburn Air is a 39g refillable pod vape that runs on a 1000mAh battery, puts out up to 25W, and takes any cartridge in Uwell's GPP family. Priced at Rs. 3,000 at Galaxy Vapers, it has no fire button and no screen menu. You inhale to fire it, rotate the pod to change the airflow, and pull the pod out and back in twice to switch power modes. It is the lightest vape in the current Caliburn range and one of the few pod kits at this price that is not locked to a single proprietary cartridge.

That last point is the reason most people end up choosing it. If you already own a Caliburn G3, G4 or G5, your existing pods fit this device.

How the Airflow Actually Works

This is the part most listings skip, so it is worth being specific: there is no airflow ring and no slider on this device. You change the draw by rotating the cartridge in its slot. Turn it one way for a tight, cigarette-like MTL pull; turn it the other way to open it up for a looser RDL draw.

It takes about a second and you can do it mid-session without unseating the pod or spilling anything. The trade-off compared to a sliding airflow ring is that you get a smaller number of usable positions rather than infinite fine adjustment. This is a simple device by design.

Waves Mode and Storm Mode

The Caliburn Air has two power modes and no menu to reach them. To switch, pull the cartridge out and push it back in twice within a couple of seconds. The LED confirms the change.

Waves Mode runs at lower output. The draw is smoother, the vapour is cooler, and the battery lasts noticeably longer. This is the mode most people leave it on for everyday nic salt use.

Storm Mode pushes more power to the coil. Flavour is more intense, vapour is denser, and the throat hit is stronger. It drains the battery faster and will get through your e-liquid quicker.

Neither mode is a "setting" you can lose track of. It is a physical gesture at the pod, which is why the device works well for anyone coming off disposables.

Pod Compatibility and Which Resistance to Buy

The Caliburn Air runs on Uwell's G Pod Platform (GPP), the same cartridge system used across the current Caliburn range. In practice this means three families of pods fit: GPP Alpha, standard GPP, and Caliburn G3 cartridges.

All of them come in four resistances, and the resistance you pick matters more to your experience than which mode you use:

Resistance

Draw

Best for

0.4Ω

Loosest

RDL/DTL, more vapour, warmer flavour, lower-nicotine freebase

0.6Ω (included)

Loose-to-medium

RDL, balanced flavour and vapour, good all-rounder

0.9Ω

Tighter

Balanced restricted draw, works with salts or freebase

1.2Ω

Tightest

MTL, cigarette-like inhale, nic salts, cooler vape

The kit ships with the 0.6Ω. If you are switching from cigarettes or a disposable and want a tight draw with nic salts, the 0.9Ω or 1.2Ω will suit you better than the pod in the box. Worth adding a pack of Caliburn GPP Alpha replacement pods to your order.

GPP Alpha pods use Uwell's AlphaCore mesh, which the manufacturer rates for 17+ refills before flavour drops off. Older GPP and G3 pods work fine but generally need replacing sooner. If you are unsure when a pod is due for replacement, our guide to coils and pods covers the signs to watch for.

Devices that share these pods: Caliburn G3, G3 Lite, G3 Pro, G4, G4 Mini, G4 Pro, G5 and the Caliburn G5 Lite. If you own any of these, check your drawer before buying spares.

Battery and Charging

The 1000mAh cell is charged over USB-C at 5V/1A. For moderate MTL use in Waves Mode, a full charge typically covers a day. Storm Mode and RDL-style vaping will cut that down.

There is an LED battery indicator on the device, so you get a rough charge level rather than being left to guess, but it is a status light, not a numeric percentage or a puff counter. If you want a screen with an exact readout, this is not that device.

Note: the retail box contains the device, one pod and a manual. A USB-C cable is not included in most packaging, so use a cable you already own.

Design and Build

The chassis is ABS and polycarbonate with a soft-touch TPU mouthpiece, which is more comfortable against the lips over a long day than the harder plastic mouthpieces on earlier Caliburn pods. At roughly 116.8 × 25.5 × 15mm and 39g it is genuinely pocketable, closer in feel to carrying a pen than a pod mod.

The cartridge seats magnetically and fills from the side, so you do not have to pull the mouthpiece apart to top up. The pod body is PCTG and translucent enough to check your e-liquid level.

There is no screen and no fire button anywhere on the device.

How to Use It

  1. Remove the cartridge and fill it from the side port with nic salt or 50/50 freebase e-liquid.
  2. Let it stand 5 to 10 minutes before the first use so the cotton saturates. Skipping this is the most common cause of a burnt first pod.
  3. Push the cartridge in until it seats magnetically.
  4. Inhale to fire. There is no button.
  5. Rotate the cartridge to tighten or loosen the draw.
  6. To change power mode, pull the cartridge out and reinsert it twice quickly.
  7. Recharge over USB-C when the LED signals low battery.

Who It Suits

A good fit if you: want a light, button-free device for all-day MTL or RDL; are moving off disposables to something refillable; already own Caliburn G3/G4/G5 pods and want a second compact device; prefer nic salts.

Look elsewhere if you: want sub-ohm clouds or DTL power; need a screen with exact battery percentage and wattage control; go through several tanks a day and find a 3ml pod and 25W ceiling limiting.

Honest Limitations

  • One pod in the box. A single 0.6Ω cartridge. If you want a tighter MTL draw you will need to buy a 0.9Ω or 1.2Ω separately.
  • No USB-C cable included. Standard for this price bracket, but worth knowing.
  • LED only, no numeric readout. You get a charge indication, not a percentage.
  • 25W is a ceiling. Coming from a sub-ohm tank, this will feel restrained. That is the design intent, not a fault.
  • Airflow adjustment is coarse. Rotating the pod gives you a few useful positions, not a fine-grained slider.

What's in the Box

  • 1× Uwell Caliburn Air device
  • 1× GPP Alpha cartridge, 0.6Ω, 3ml (pre-installed)
  • 1× User manual
