What Boost Mode Actually Does

The Vprime Dual Mesh cartridges carry two resistance ratings, and OXVA prints both on the box:

Boost engages the paired mesh configuration inside the pod, halving its effective resistance. Lower resistance means more current, faster ramp-up, and a warmer, denser hit. On the 0.4Ω pod, Boost is what unlocks the full 60W.

Eco mode does the reverse. It runs the pod in standard configuration and limits power draw, noticeably extending how long the 3400mAh battery lasts.

So you change the character of your vape by switching modes, not by switching pods.

Which Pod Should You Use?

Start on the 0.4Ω for vapour and warmth, paired with high-VG freebase e-liquids. Start on the 0.6Ω for a more controlled draw and better battery economy. The 0.6Ω is also the better choice for low-strength saltnic e-liquids.

How to Set Up the Oxva Vprime 2

1. Charge fully before first use.
2. Fill from the side port, pouring slowly along the inside wall to avoid air bubbles.
3. Prime it. Let the filled pod sit for 5 to 10 minutes before your first draw so the wicking saturates. This is the step people skip, and firing a dry pod scorches the cotton permanently.
4. Start low. Begin at the bottom of the recommended range and work up.
5. Top up before it is empty. Refilling at around a quarter left, rather than running it dry, is the biggest thing you can do for pod life.

Leaking
